The Wild Silk Collection is very special to Aviva and is a reflection of her active participation in the global textile community. A delightful collective of ladies in India make these textiles using  old world hand looms from a time ago. We call it "Wild Silk" because it is a type of cruelty free silk - the cocoons are found in nature left behind by silk worms.   This fiber is then spun by hand and is woven in small batches. To be extra fancy she hand paints on top of it - color horizon painted on hand loomed cruelty free silks? It doesn't get more artisan than that. Painted with Love in the USA

Complete with feather down insert, silk dupioni back, lining, and invisible zipper.
