Aviva celebrates over 20 years in design, and is filled with gratitude to be able to thrive this long as an artist. Her main priority as a designer humanitarian is to continue to use her platform and collection of products for good. As a mother of a neurodiverse son, she is personally committed to raising awareness and supporting initiatives to support this community.  

“Deliberate Luxury has always been part of our DNA: bringing products to market with intention.  The intention to do good.  We choose to lead by example, and this is how the Cali Couture Collection was born.” says Aviva

One of a kind items are made exclusively from repurposed items.  They are “painted” with crystals, gold leaf and other fabulous findings she collects and curates along her travels.  Surfboards, Ski’s, electric guitars, and skateboards were originally found in her garage during covid. They became her canvases while her design studio was shut down.  When she ran out of these items, she started painting leather jackets, her designer scarves, and handbags from her closet. The Cali Couture collection began as a meditative practice – this is what it looks like when Aviva “knits” quietly in her studio in her free time.  With this collection her favorite stars align: passion for sustainability, obsessive curating of beloved crystals, and of course, working with gold leaf and couture elements.

A portion of all sales from Cali Couture go toward supporting “Hiro’s Table" an initiative at Aviva Stanoff Design inspired by Hiro who is non speaking.  

Aviva’s entire collection follows one mantra:  To celebrate the beauty of imperfection and individual uniqueness found in nature.  Cali Couture and her other circulating offerings directly resonate with her unwavering mission to celebrate the beauty of the imperfect - that which makes us all uniquely a gift to this planet.
