The All Modart Collection lives in two opposing gestures. The grid, an homage to the Zen garden. The splash, its opposite, celebrating imperfection as its own kind of perfection.
The collection is inspired by years of studying Japanese calligraphy as a child. Brushstrokes are intentions. Both the order in which they are applied and the brushes used. Japanese brushes, hand-carried home from Japan.
